With the rise of the selfie to express oneself, the need for data storage is becoming increasingly important. SanDisk designs and manufactures flash memory storage systems and is currently the third-largest manufacturer of those systems in the world. SanDisk became an LGO partner in 2013 and has sponsored three internship projects, including one that won Best Thesis.

Weng-Hong is responsible for starting and scaling up a global Solid-State Drive (SSD) assembly development organization. He works with a variety of stakeholders, such as go-to-market business units, hardware engineering, test engineering, quality and reliability, and factory operations in order to deliver enterprise-class and client-class SSDs within cost, quality, reliability, and capacity parameters.
The LGO program, with its exceptional engineering and management content, world-class educators, and down-to-earth students, has been a key inflection point for my personal and professional growth.

Manish has been at SanDisk for 10 years, where he served as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Operations. In that role, he was responsible for all manufacturing, including fabrication, assembly, testing, and supply chain management. Manish recently accepted a position at Western Digital, SanDisk’s holding company.
