Leaders for Global Operations:
Dual-Degree Program - MBA & MS Engineering
The Leaders for Global Operations Program
Each year, LGO offers a cadre of the world's best and brightest early-career manufacturing professionals a generous fellowship and the opportunity to earn both an MBA and an SM in engineering at one of the world's most renowned institutes of higher learning. Together, they embark each June on LGO's two-year academic and pragmatic journey.
LGO produces world-class manufacturing and operations leaders. Created in 1988 in response to the need for U.S. companies to become more competitive, MIT’s Leaders for Global Operations program is a collaboration among MIT Sloan School of Management, MIT School of Engineering, and more than 20 industry partners. LGO students, graduates, and partners research and implement principles of manufacturing excellence to drive global socio-economic prosperity.
LGO offers students a dual-degree opportunity to combine engineering depth in systems design, new product development, and manufacturing with management breadth, in order to successfully lead global companies in the 21st century.
