What's it like to be an MIT LGO student? Is MIT LGO the right program for me? How can I apply?
In conjunction with MIT Sloan, LGO offers a variety of programs and events, both on campus and around the world, to help you answer these questions. One of the best ways to learn more about LGO is by interacting with those who know the program best–our current students, faculty, and alumni.
The best way to learn more about LGO is to schedule a campus visit through our Ambassadors Program. During visits, applicants are paired with first-year hosts and have the opportunity to attend a class, eat lunch with LGO students, and meet faculty members and staff.
LGO visits are offered weekdays from the second week of September through the second week of December, with the exception of campus holidays. February and March visits are offered only to prospective applicants for future application cycles. To request a visit, please email our student Ambassadors at email@example.com.
Every fall, LGO hosts an Ambassador Day and Information Evening on campus. This daylong series of events is designed to allow prospective students to learn more about the program and its students. Ambassador Day features student and alumni panels, a partner company seminar, and the opportunity to attend classes, interact with students and faculty, and see what makes LGO the nation's leading graduate, dual-degree program in engineering and management.
Ambassador Day will take place on Monday, November 5, 2012. More information on this event will be available during the fall. Please contact the LGO program office (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you’re interested in attending.
If you can't visit the MIT campus, we recommend you participate in one of the MIT Sloan-on-the-Road events, which take place around the world. These events give applicants an opportunity to learn more about the MIT Sloan School of Management and the admissions process by speaking with staff, students, and alumni. In most U.S. cities, LGO representatives, including alumni and admissions representatives, are there to help you learn more about the LGO program and answer questions. For a list of admissions events and to register, visit the MIT Sloan MBA Attend a Recruiting Event webpage.
In addition to the LGO Ambassadors Program, we encourage you to participate in one or more of MIT Sloan's programs for prospective applicants. The MIT Sloan website has detailed information on visiting the school on their Visit Our Campus page.
